Special Assessment Fund

The Golden Bay Community Trust has a special amount set aside per year for allocation to the 'Special Assessment Fund'.

The Special Assessment Fund has been set up to assist children with special needs who may require urgent support.

Anyone can apply at anytime for financial support to enhance a child's wellbeing or welfare that the family can't afford.

It maybe for appointments for eyes, teeth, paediatric visits or other health issues, for assessments for learning or other educational reasons.

Decisions on this fund can be made within a few days to meet urgent needs. 

Applications will be assessed based on the merit of the information provided and on a case by case basis.

Applications and information provided will be treated in confidence; and grant recipients of this fund will not be published.
